Tony WidenTony Wideen, President of Hospitality Consultant Services, brings to the profession of carpet consulting a unique understanding of the facility management needs of the gaming industry based on his experience of having worked in the Hospitality industry for more than 30 years. Tony spent ten years working in the Las Vegas Hotel/Casino industry where he learned first-hand the ins and outs of the utilization of hotel/casino properties before he moved into his more specialized role as an Interior Designer and a multi-line commercial carpet sales representative for 15 years. He went on to become the Western Regional Vice-President of Sales of the largest carpeting manufacturer serving the Hospitality industry, Durkan Patterned Carpets of Dalton, Georgia.

Tony’s background in interior design gave him an edge in assisting in product design and development for Durkan. He was uniquely equipped to research and recommend innovative products in order to achieve the best results for his customers. He became highly regarded in the industry for his vast knowledge of textiles, inks and types of construction, and for the ability this knowledge gave him to think outside the box and satisfy his customers with expert, creative advice in the selection of color, design, and the types of fabrics that best met their needs.

With his extensive carpeting experience, Tony has at his fingertips a detailed knowledge of the durability of carpeting products, industry pricing, credit terms, and production and delivery schedules. Tony began placing that knowledge in the hands of his commercial Las Vegas customers on a regular basis as owner and operator of Anthony and Associates Carpet Showroom of Las Vegas in January, 1985. Now, 20 years later, Tony Wideen has taken his carpeting and hospitality industry expertise to a new level and developed a consulting service that promises to revolutionize carpet buying services for the Las Vegas Gaming and Hospitality industry.
